Rob Carr

  • CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

I grew up in Cape Girardeau MO where I played baseball and basketball at Cape Central High School. After high school I attended Southeast Missouri State University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.

In 2006, I moved to Saint Louis where I started working for the St. Louis County Police Department.

In 2009, I did my first CrossFit WOD and like so many before me, I was instantly hooked. Before too long, I had a couple of bumper weights, kettlebells, and a pull up bar and was running WODs out of my friend’s garage. My passion for CrossFit as well as helping people has provided me with the opportunity to work with athletes from all walks of life.

I love the community aspect of the sport as well as the competition that goes with it. It provides anyone and everyone a chance to put their work to the test.
As a trainer, I pride myself in teaching correct form to produce optimal results and progress with each individual athlete.
After owning and running BASC CrossFit for two years, I was given the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING opportunity to make the move to CrossFit 314 where I will do all that I can to help athletes progress in their CrossFit journey and generally just be awesome at life.
