- CrossFit Level 1 Trainer
I’m Ben Marsh. People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.
I am originally from a small town in Michigan called Kawkawlin. From early on, I had an interest in sports, fitness, and Dragonball Z. Growing up, I played multiple sports along with spending an inordinate amount of time on my family’s Bowflex. I attended Valley Lutheran High School in Saginaw where I met my wife, Stephanie, and I also played football and threw discus and shot put (My Bowflex sessions totally payed off ). Both Stephanie and I attended Concordia University Chicago where I received a degree as a Director of Christian Education, and we moved to St. Louis in July of 2012. That fall, Stephanie and I began to CrossFit on our own. We quickly realized we could use some help, so we began to seek out a local Crossfit gym. We attended “bring a friend a day” at 314 even though we didn’t have any friends. After that initial visit there was no turning back, we were hooked! In 2013, I became a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. My goal as a trainer is to help others improve their fitness, live a healthy lifestyle, and reach goals that they might have once thought unattainable.
