The Virtuosity of your Overhead Squat Position is directly correlated to your Flexibility and Muscular Balance.

Christie has worked DARN HARD to open up her shoulder position, enabling her to face her armpits forward as well as maintain a rather upright torso.

If your Overhead Squat position is wanting, you’re leaving kilos and pounds on the table at minimum in the Snatch, but arguably in ALL of your lifts, Olympic or Powerlifting.

Good show here, Christie. Keep up the strong work.

*I’m not 100% sure Christie has four kids, but I think that’s accurate. The wife and I are about to make the weekly pilgrimage to Cosctco, and I don’t have time to do my usual fact checking. Please don’t hold it against me.
