Danielle, I am SO stinkin’ proud of you.
I’m proud of you for making a PR on your Clean and Jerk on Sunday. I’m proud of you for going 4 for 6 at your first Olympic Weightlifting Meet. Heck, I’m even proud of you just for signing up to compete with the rest of the Barbell Team, a handful of which are national caliber lifters.
But mostly, I’m proud of your consistent commitment and dedication to the process over the last 13 months. You’ve visited the gym more days than you haven’t since your first day on August 11th, 2014. You’re extremely coachable, you always do the CrossFit Warmup, and I’ve never seen you give it any less than 100%.
Not everyone who comes into the gym has the patience or mindset to stick with it for the long haul. I have a huge admiration for those who do, like you.
