Barbell on Blocks

I love the Open. Everything about it. The workouts, the format, the competition, the camaraderie. Everything.

I can think of at least half a dozen PR’s over the weekend off the top of my head. The effort and intensity of each of the Open Athletes is just on another level compared with the usual day-to-day workouts.

And I don’t think there will ever come a day that I get over that inescapable nervous feeling as the clock counts down to kick-off the first Open Workout of the season. I’ll always be like a little kid on the first day of the Little League Season.
