You are Rich Froning

I enjoyed this article a while back. Because try as I might, I am not Rich Froning Jr. At least not on a regular day-to-day basis. But when the Open comes around…

Well, it’s another story. There is a switch that I just cannot flip unless the chips are down and we are toe-to-toe competing for forever bragging rights. (Because those scores stay on the Leaderboard for forever. FOR…EV…ER.)

For five weeks, for at least one workout per week, there is a legitimate part of me that thinks that I just might be the Fittest Man on Earth. I’m not even kidding. My palms are sweating right now at the mere prospect of the “Just Right Workout” popping up during the Open where maybe I beat Rich Froning. Maybe.
